I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room on the executive floor was lovely, and there was a special eating area on the same floor for breakfast. The dinner in the Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor was delicious and there was plenty of food to choose from. The location of the hotel was very central to shops, and it was great to have Australian power points in the room. the service culture at this hotel was really good. The staff were great too help me with unusual matters, such as sending a parcel of books back to Germany, and they did it without any extra charge. The location of the hotel was also perfect, as it was well-connected with subway lines to all directions of the city. Just a short walk away, there was a big shopping street with shopping malls and cozy little restaurants.

Great location near a shopping center, Forbidden City, and other attractions. Staff was very accommodating and helpful, especially the manager who helped us with transportation and contacting our tour company. Enjoyed the nice pool, just remember to bring a swim cap.

Roads closed around the hotel due to a military parade practice, causing inconvenience for getting to the airport. Initial issue with toilet paper and water not being restocked in the room, but was resolved the next day.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and well-maintained bathroom. One highlight of my stay was the good surprise the hotel prepared for my partner's birthday, including a cake and a thoughtful card. The hotel's restaurant also impressed me, offering delicious food at reasonable prices. I was amazed by the hotel's really good customer service when they promptly refunded me after a billing error. I had a nice experience at the Mercure in Beijing and would highly recommend it to others.
